Simple Horizontal Navigation Bar

Here is a super easy way to add a horizontal navigation bar under your header.

It requires no messing with HTML and can be done in just a matter of minutes!

1.Go to Dashboard>Layout>Page Elements>Add a Gadget>HTML/Java Script (be sure to click the Gadget under your header)

2. Make sure you're on Rich Text (rather than HTML) located at the upper right of the text box.  {your box should look like the one below}

3. Type the name of your first link (ie. About) After the word add a space then a pipe symbol ( | ) found above the back slash.  This will add a space between each of your labels.

4. Highlight the text, click on the "add link" symbol and insert the URL for that label.

6. On separate lines, add the rest of the links you want in the Navigation bar, then click Save.

7. That's it, you're done!

**PLEASE NOTE**
Blogger now gives you the option of setting up 10 static pages {Settings>Basic scroll to Global Settings>Select Post Editor then click Update Editor
This is a great new feature that eliminates the need for adding a Navigation Widget, however, I have not worked out the kinks to get it centered in my templates, so if you want the navigation bar while using my templates, I strongly suggest you simply add the Navigation Widget.  Just be sure to back date the pages you're linking to so they do not show up on your front page.
